Plymouth Argyle's highly-rated winger Yannick Bolasie insists that he has no intention of leaving the club this summer.
The Pilgrims suffered their second consecutive relegation after being hit with a ten point deduction for falling into administration.
However, the prospect of League Two football next season doesn't put the 21-year-old off from staying at Home Park.
"Playing in League Two wouldn't faze me at all and I'd like to see out my contract at the club, with another year still left on it, he told
skysports.com.
"If the club want me to stay then I will be more than happy to do so, but that decision is down to the club really.
I'd love to stay here and help the club rebuild and give the fans some happiness again."
The sales of key players such as top scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips and defender Reda Johnson proved to be big blows in the club's hopes of survival, but the Congolese youngster is confident that they can bounce back next season.
"We sold some of our top players this season because we needed the money at the time, but I don't think we are a selling club any more.
"In the circumstances the club had do things that they didn't want to do and obviously losing the likes of Reda Johnson and Bradley Wright-Phillips didn't help matters on the pitch, but that is football for you and you've just got to keep going.
Hopefully, the club are in a position to keep the squad intact for next season so that we can give League Two a real good go next year.
I think that we can bounce back, but I haven't played in League Two for a good few years now, so it could be tougher than I remember it being.
"I m expecting it to be a tough division to succeed in because the lower down you go the more difficult it gets to play football, so we definitely aren't expecting an easy ride."
