Crystal Palace forward Emmanuel Adebayor joins up with Togo squad

Emmanuel Adebayor has ended his self-imposed international exile after holding successful talks with the Togolese Football Federation.
The forward last played for Togo in June 2015 and turned down an approach from FTF president Colonel Kossi Akpovy earlier this month to focus on his club future at Crystal Palace.
Adebayor, who played for Togo at the 2006 World Cup in Germany, has since made himself unavailable for selection on several occasions and criticised the "chaos" in the FTF.
But, after holding productive discussions with the FTF, the 32-year-old has returned to the Togo national set-up and could feature against Tunisia in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Tuesday.
"Adebayor joined the national team yesterday after negotiations with FTF officials. He trained just like his team-mates," Pierre Lamadokou, secretary general for the Togolese Football Federation, said.
"He will be with his team-mates again on Monday afternoon for the final training session before the game against Tunisia."
Adebayor joined Palace in January on a deal until the end of the season, having been without a club since September 2015 after being released by Tottenham.
He has scored just one goal since arriving at Selhurst Park, netting in the 2-1 home defeat to Watford in the Premier League in February.
