Wayne Hennessey granted extension to answer FA charge

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has been granted an extension to answer an FA charge.
The 32-year-old has until 15 February 2019 to respond to his recent charge of breaching FA Rule E3.
Hennessey was charged by the FA for allegedly making a gesture, which showed him with an arm raised and a hand over his mouth, in a group photo, which appeared on German team-mate Max Meyer's Instagram story.
However, Hennessey claimed any resemblance to a Nazi salute was "absolutely coincidental".
The FA Rule E3, which states players "shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute ".
Hennessey originally had until January 31 to respond to the charge.
