Alex Whitmore, Arlen Birch and Christian Hill have been offered new contracts by Burnley.
While that trio look set to stay at Turf Moor for the 2016/17 season, three more development squad players have not been offered deals and will leave the club.
Defenders Whitmore and Birch will remain with Burnley, who could be back in the Barclays Premier League next season, while winger Hill also has fresh terms on the table.
Senior professional development phase coach Michael Jolley sees a bright future for the three young players.
"We have offered new deals to the three players as we still see growth in them and there is more to come from them," Jolley told the club's official website.
"We can see a pathway for them all at the moment to continue to develop and grow here at Burnley, whether that's in our development squad or on loan elsewhere, and we think these three still have potential in areas we think they can make an impact."
Goalkeeper Danijel Nizic, midfielder Brandon Wilson and forward Jason Gilchrist have been informed that their contracts will not be renewed while George Green has yet to be made an offer, with the former Everton forward only joining the club in January.
