Swansea manager Paulo Sousa has played down talk linking him with the vacant managerial position at Burnley.
The former QPR boss has guided the Swans to the play-off places in the Championship this season and his progress has reportedly caught the eye of the Clarets.
With Owen Coyle set to secure his switch to Bolton, a number of names have been touted as possible successors to the Scotsman.
However, while Sousa admits it is nice to be recognised for good work, he insists he is going nowhere at the moment.
"The speculation is something to appreciate," he said in the
South Wales Evening Post.
"It means people are looking at our work and it means we are working well if we get this kind of recognition.
"But I haven't had any contact with Burnley and my ambition at this moment is to manage Swansea.
Desire
"I am full of desire to do well here and I am happy we are doing well.
"It is the same as when other clubs are interested in my players - it is recognition because they are doing well.
"But I am only interested in doing my work well at Swansea. I respect my club and my players and this is all I am looking to do.
"Swansea fans need to be happy with the way we work and the way we are improving all the time, because we work to give them success.
"That is the important thing - to play good football and get success at Swansea.
"With all respect, I am Swansea manager and that is all I am thinking about."
Meanwhile, Swansea's league trip to Middlesbrough on Saturday has been called off because of adverse weather conditions.
