Burnley defender heads back to Liberty Stadium on loan
Swansea City have completed the loan signing of defender David Edgar from Championship rivals Burnley.
Edgar has struggled for first-team opportunities at Burnley this season and has agreed a second loan spell with Swansea.
The 23-year-old spent the end of last term on loan at the Liberty Stadium and made five appearances for the club.
He will now finish the current campaign with Brendan Rodgers' side, subject to the deal being given Football League approval.
The former Newcastle United youngster will not be eligible for Tuesday's game against Bristol City and could make his Swansea debut in the weekend derby against Cardiff City.
