Joe Cole enjoying League One promotion push at Coventry City

Coventry midfielder Joe Cole says he is relishing a promotion push in League One this season - and insists he will continue playing until his body doesn't allow it.
The former Chelsea midfielder struggled for game-time at Aston Villa and moved into the Sky Bet Football League to ply his trade this season.
But, speaking to Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday, Cole says he is enjoying his time at the Ricoh Arena.
"It was something that came up, it suited both parties," he said, ahead of Coventry's clash with Sheffield United on Sunday - live on Sky as part of 10 in 10.
"I want to be playing, I'm fit, and it suited everybody concerned. It was a good move and I'm really enjoying my time there. I've always been advised to play on for as long as I can, and if the body is still telling me to play, I'll keep doing it and I'm enjoying it.
"It's exciting to be in a team winning games at the right end of the league, which I haven't for a long time. It's been an eye-opener."
At 34 years old, Cole is well aware of his role in the squad. As younger players break through to the first team, he will be there to answer questions and give advice after his 18-year top flight career.
Despite that, the London-born midfielder is still keen to offer something on the pitch and, after an injury lay-off, is in contention to start at Bramall Lane.
"Primarily I'm there to win football matches and play," Cole said. "I'm looking forward to the game at the weekend. From a selfish Coventry point of view, you look at Burton losing their manager and Walsall, that can only be good for us. We've just got to concentrate on keeping winning games.
"When you get to the end of January, early February, and you start thinking 'Yeah we could get promoted here' or 'We could win the league'.
"For me it's about playing football and enjoying myself, and learning as well. I'm learning from the gaffer and how he does things. I like competing on a Saturday and I haven't been doing that a lot in the last few years. I don't see it as a job, I see it as a pleasure to play."
