Coventry defender Sam Ricketts has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
The 34-year-old joined the Sky Bet League One side in July 2015 from Wolves and made 46 appearances for the Sky Blues last term.
Manager Tony Mowbray told the club's official website: "Since I joined Coventry City, I've spoken about the importance of leadership and experience in the dressing room.
"Sam knows what it takes to get out of this division and his versatility means he can play anywhere across the back-line.
"League One will be an extremely competitive league next season and Sam will play a vital role in leading this team forward. I'm delighted to see him extend his stay at this club."
