Ince & Wise in for Sky Blues role

Sky Sports understands former England internationals Paul Ince and Dennis Wise are contenders for the vacant manager's job at Coventry. Coventry are on the look-out for a new manager after the sacking of Andy Thorn over the weekend. A number of names have been linked with the Ricoh Arena role, and Ince and Wise are both thought to be keen on the post as they look to get back into management. Wise has links with Coventry having ended his playing career with the club before going on to manage Swindon and Leeds. The 45-year-old has been out of work since leaving his executive role at Newcastle United in 2009 and he is thought to be keen on getting back into management. Former Blackburn and MK Dons chief Ince is also looking to get back into the dug-out having left Notts County last April. Coventry are thought to be keen on bringing in a new man as soon as possible, and both Ince and Wise have thrown their hats into the ring to succeed Thorn.
