Queens Park Rangers have signed Legia Warsaw midfielder Ariel Borysiuk, according to the Polish club.
The 24-year-old becomes Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's first signing of the transfer window and is expected to undergo a medical later this week ahead of his move to West London.
Legia Warsaw revealed the transfer had been completed through a statement on their website, and thanked the midfielder for his services to the club. QPR are yet to confirm the deal.
"Ariel - good luck in your new club. Thank you for a great attitude on and off the pitch," read the statement.
The defensive midfielder made 13 league appearances last season to help Legia win the Polish top division, the Ekstraklasa, for a record 18th time.
He is also the club's youngest ever goalscorer after scoring against Odra Wodzisław at the age of 16 years and 265 days.
Borysiuk has also won 10 caps for Poland but was not included in Adam Nawałka's 23-man squad for the European Championship in France.
QPR face Aldershot on July 1 in their first pre-season warm-up match ahead of their opening Championship fixture against Leeds United at Loftus Road on August 7.
