Alessandro Pellicori's brief stint with QPR has been brought to a premature end with a loan move to AC Mantova.
The 28-year-old striker has returned to his homeland after failing to make his mark at Loftus Road after arriving in the summer from Avellino.
Pellicori had signed a three-year deal with the Rs but has seen his first-team options limited and has made just 10 appearances in all competitions, the vast majority from the bench.
The only goal the former Lecce forward scored came in the Carling Cup victory against Exeter on his debut back in August.
Pellicori has signed a deal with the Serie B outfit until the end of the season when all parties will then review their options.
