QPR playmaker Adel Taarabt confident of avoiding relegation

Adel Taarabt has been encouraged by Queens Park Rangers' progress under Harry Redknapp and believes they have a good chance of staying up.

Taarabt has also thanked the QPR supporters for getting behind the team and he hopes they will have a lot more to celebrate after a first win of the season against Fulham. He said: "The fans were fantastic and I think we gave them a great performance. ''They have been waiting for this since the beginning of the season and they deserved this win.
