Saturday Night Football Podcast: Leicester celebrate title victory
Saturday 7 May 2016 22:22, UK
Jamie Redknapp, Jamie Carragher and Alan Smith were at the King Power to witness Leicester lift the Premier League trophy.
Having being confirmed as champions on Monday, it was party time for the Foxes as they celebrated their success in front of their own fans.
After beating Everton 3-1 on Saturday Night Football, the players lifted the trophy and embarked on a lap of honour around the stadium.
While Jamie Vardy scored twice against the Toffees to take his tally to the season to 24, Jamie Redknapp said every single player has played their part in the title success.
"I emphasise the word 'team' because that is what they have been all season, as one," he said. "Each and every player has been magnificent from Kasper Schmeichel to Jamie Vardy. They have a great captain and a great leader.
"This isn't meant to happen. This is little Leicester."
