Everything is in place for Brendan Rodgers to succeed at Leicester, according to former Foxes defender Gerry Taggart.
Fellow Northern Irishman Rodgers has become the club's new manager, signing a contract at the King Power Stadium until June 2022.
And the fans' favourite believes it's the perfect appointment for both club and manager moving forward.
Taggart, who played for the club for six years between 1998 and 2004 said: "For both Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City it is a really good fit.
"He will get money to spend, there's a brand new training ground on the way and a stadium expansion as well.
"There is everything working in Brendan Rodgers' favour to get him where he wants to go as a manager."
However, Taggart urges the Leicester City faithful to be patient with the new boss - believing it won't be until next season when Rodgers impact will really be made.
"You can't change too much too soon, "Taggart added. "Get to the end of the season and then stamp your authority on the players in pre-season.
"Until then he's going to have to come in, have a look at what he's got and assess the strength of the team and use his abilities as a coach to get the best out of the players at his disposal."
