Barnsley have announced the signing of midfielder Otis Khan on a free transfer.
The 20-year-old was released by Sheffield United on Monday and the Tykes moved swiftly to secure their man following a successful trial last week.
Khan, a right-sided midfielder has penned an 18-month deal with the club and will look to build on the two first-team appearances he made for the Blades.
Manager Lee Johnson told the club's official website he was delighted to get the move completed.
He said: "Otis did really well in his trial arranged by our recruitment team and we're pleased he's joined us.
"He excelled at Conference level recently with Barrow and this is a great opportunity for him to kick-start his career."
The player, who scored four goal during that spell with Barrow earlier this season, added: "I'm really happy to sign. It's a really young squad and I'm happy to have the chance. I'm over the moon to be here.
"I'd say I'm an attacking midfielder who likes to create and score goals. I want to create opportunities for players and myself."
