Barnsley striker Daniel Bogdanovic has entered talks to extend his stay at Oakwell.

Malta international could stay next season

Barnsley have entered negotiations to extend Daniel Bogdanovic's stay at Oakwell beyond the end of the season. The 29-year-old, who signed from Lokomotiv Sofia in the summer, has been a regular feature in Mark Robins' first team over the course of the campaign. And with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season, Robins has decided to try and keep the striker at the club. Bogdanovic has been struggling with a knee injury recently but could be fit to make his first appearance since January in the Tykes' home clash with Plymouth on Saturday. The Maltese player has also been called up for international duty ahead of a friendly with Finland on 3rd March.
