Hull City have reached an agreement with former chairman Paul Duffen, bringing to an end their dispute.
The Premier League club issued legal proceedings against Duffen in January, claiming he had used company money for his own personal use and questioned his transfer dealings.
The accusations were strenuously denied by the ex-Tigers supremo, who left his post at the KC Stadium in October 2009, and he claimed he was still owed £1million by the club.
Duffen threatened legal proceedings of his own, keen to his clear his name and prove he had acted in a responsible manner during his time in East Yorkshire.
The matter has, however, now been resolved, with Hull announcing that a settlement which suits both parties has been reached.
"Further to the statement made on 22nd January 2010 regarding legal action commenced by Hull City against its former chief executive officer, we are pleased to confirm that we have agreed settlement on terms satisfactory to the club," read a statement released on the club's
official website.
"This agreement brings to an end all dispute between the parties."
