Hull City have confirmed the signing of Slovenia international midfielder Robert Koren.
As first reported on
Skysports.com, Koren had been the target of a number of Championship clubs but the Tigers appear to have led the chase throughout.
And manager Nigel Pearson has swooped to sign the 29-year-old, who has penned a two-year deal with the Tigers.
The contract will also offer the option of a third year for both parties should Koren impress during Hull's Championship campaign.
The Slovenia international, who captained his country at the World Cup finals in South Africa this summer, will go straight into the squad for City's visit to Millwall on Saturday.
Koren helped West Brom win promotion out of the Championship last season but was released by manager Roberto Di Matteo.
