Prem and Italian interest in Tigers star
Skysports.com understands Hull City midfielder Robert Koren is a target for several Premier League clubs, but is more than happy at the KC Stadium.
Koren has been in a rich vein of form in recent weeks for the Tigers and his performances have not gone unnoticed by clubs in the top flight.
The Slovenia international has scored seven goals from midfield and contributed four assists for promotion-chasing Hull this term.
Reports have suggested Koren's current deal expires at the end of the season, but it is understood the former West Brom man has 18 months to run on his contract.
The Tigers are determined to keep hold of Koren as they look to maintain their bid for promotion and his agent, Zoran Krneta of London-based firm Star Management Signings, admits the player is happy despite attracting interest from elsewhere.
Reflection
"Robi is playing well at the moment, seven goals and four assists from midfield is a reflection of that," Krneta told
skysports.com.
"Contrary to reports, he has another year left on his contract, and is concentrating on getting Hull up to the Premier League as this is where he retains his desire to play.
"As a by-product of hitting a rich vein of form there has been interest from Premier League sides, and from Serie A, but at the moment Robi is fully behind Hull's cause.
"If anyone is to make an approach then that's between themselves and Hull."
