Ian Holloway can't wait for 10 in 10 - and he taken's over One Direction's tour bus for his bumper road trip.

Sky Sports' Football League analyst will be covering 10 live games in 10 days over the next week and a half, travelling to Wolves for Friday night's opener against Nottingham Forest, before trips to Milton Keynes, Sheffield and Blackburn among others.

So how's Ollie feeling ahead of the marathon event?

"I feel privileged to be doing this," the former Blackpool, QPR and Millwall boss told the FL72 Podcast.

"Other people have to pay to watch these games and I get to be shuttled around on a tour bus. It's only the preparation that's a little bit daunting -making sure you know each team - but luckily for me, eight of them are in the Championship, which I know really well.

"I can't wait to see the fans. Hopefully we can pop into a few pubs on the way and have a chat with them to see how they feel because they go through the mill, but not all of you can win. That's the point I want to make.

"The whole point of football, I think, is that you learn from your defeats sometimes. You can't just keep sacking managers left, right and centre and that's the point: that everyone can't win. You wouldn't have a league system if everyone could finish top, would you?

"But I do want to spread some Christmas cheer and I don't want any grinches around the place. I've seen that film and even he turned it around at the end."

Holloway will be travelling to the games on a former One Direction tour bus - and admits he'll be taking his wife Kim, as well a Sky Sports crew, along for the ride.

"Well One Direction had it before but I don't know what direction I'll be going in!" he said.

"It's a double decker and it's got beds on it so it's quite amazing really. My advice to anyone on the motorway as it goes past is be careful because as you look up, you'll see my ugly face all over it!

"There'll be lots to do each day and we'll be keeping a diary of where we're going and what we're doing. We'll be staying in some clubs' car parks at the main grounds and sometimes training grounds so I'm going to be totally immersed in football. That's been me all my life so I can't tell you how excited I'm going to be."
