Leeds have confirmed the signing of Oliver Sarkic from Benfica for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old had been on loan at Elland Road from the Portuguese side but has now made his move permanent.

Sarkic is yet to make his debut for Leeds, but has been a regular for the under-23 side.

The Montenegrin has signed a deal with Thomas Christiansen's side until June 2020, and the contract includes the option of a further year.

Sarkic has represented Montenegro at various youth levels, although he has failed to represent the senior side as of yet.
