Midfielder fails to agree new Elland Road deal
Bradley Johnson has been placed on the transfer list by Leeds United after rejecting the club's final offer of a new contract.
The 23-year-old midfielder's current deal is due to expire next summer and he had been in talks over extending his stay at Elland Road.
But after the two parties failed to reach an agreement the former Northampton winger will be allowed to leave in January if another club tables an acceptable offer.
Chief executive Shaun Harvey said: "We're disappointed Bradley has not accepted our offer but we were pleased to be assured we can count on his 100 per cent commitment while he is a player at this club."
Leeds signed Johnson from Northampton in January 2008 for an undisclosed fee.
He went on loan to Brighton at the end of that year but returned to Elland Road and cemented his place in Simon Grayson's first-team plans.
