Italian 100 per cent committed to Robins
Paolo Di Canio has reiterated his desire to remain at Swindon despite reports linking him with the managerial vacancy at Leeds United.
The Italian, who has guided Town to second position in League Two, the fourth round of the FA Cup and the southern area final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy spoke to
Sky Sports News about his commitment to the Wiltshire club.
The former West Ham star was adamant that his future remains with the Robins despite being linked with the managerial position at Elland Road following the sacking of Simon Grayson.
When asked if he could be tempted away from the County Ground to join the Championship club, he said: "Absolutely not this year because I gave my word and my word, for me, is more important than a contract.
"Leeds is an amazing name but there is nothing in the story because nobody contacted me but the fact that maybe someone has focused their attention on me makes me very happy because we live for it. But, this doesn't mean I would consider moving on already now.
"Leeds is an amazing club, a fantastic club and every manager would consider going there but at the moment I don't consider to move to a Premier League club because I gave my word to Swindon. I promised something to my fans and until the end of the season for sure, for sure, I will be here to try to give my best and win this league."
