Keeper to take in month-long spell with League One club

Paul Rachubka is to spend the next month of the season with Leyton Orient after being sent out on loan by Leeds United. The 30-year-old goalkeeper will remain with the League One outfit until 6th April. Rachubka has already taken in a similar spell at Tranmere Rovers this season so is fully aware of what to expect from the third tier. He made 10 appearances for Rovers over the course of a loan deal that spanned Christmas and the New Year.

Reinforcements

Leeds allowed him to leave on that occasion after seeing him fall out of favour at Elland Road. Rachubka has made six appearances for the Whites this season, but his most recent came in a 5-0 drubbing by Blackpool in November. Keeping reinforcements were required in the aftermath of that defeat, with then Leeds boss Simon Grayson aware that strengthening needed to be done. Grayson has since been replaced in the managerial hot-seat by Neil Warnock, but Rachubka remains surplus to requirements.
