Teenager relishing the chance to develop at Atletico

Elliot Kebbie has no regrets over his decision to leave Leeds for Atletico Madrid in January. The teenage full-back moved to Spain in the winter transfer window after deciding to snub interest from Manchester United and Everton. Kebbie, whose transfer to Atletico could eventually be worth £500,000 to Leeds, made the switch in order to help his football development. The 17-year-old has yet to make his debut for Atletico, but as the only Englishman playing in Spain is relishing life at the Vicente Calderon. Kebbie said in The Sun: "Spanish football suits my game, as I am a full-back but I like to get forward. "I would certainly encourage more players at youth level at 17 and 18, as this is the time to develop. "It is an important two or three years before first-team football. But I have trained with the first team six times and I have really enjoyed it."
