Michael Timlin signs new two-year deal with Southend

Southend midfielder Michael Timlin has signed a new two-year contract with the club.
Timlin, 30, has agreed to extend his stay with the newly-promoted League One club until at least the summer of 2017, with the option of a further year.
He joined Southend initially on loan in September 2010 and signed a permanent deal the following summer.
Timlin has made over 150 appearances for the Shrimpers, scoring 11 goals.
