Sheffield United have announced changes to the club's board of directors.
Managing director Stephen Bettis, whose role was made permanent earlier this year, has been named as one of eight members of a new-look board.
"Co-owners Kevin McCabe and Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud have put together a team of directors for the club featuring Simon McCabe, Scott McCabe, Stephen Bettis (the Blades' new managing director), Tareq Hawasli, Selahattin Baki and Sheffield city region businessman Martin Green," the club said on their official website.
"The streamlined board reflects the owners desires to have key representatives involved in the day-to-day operations of the club."
Bettis, who had been working with the club in an advisory role until his appointment in May, added: "The new-look board mirrors a re-focussing by the club and its co-owners.
"We look forward to working closely with our new team manager, Chris Wilder, as he re-builds the playing side, and supporting our off-the-field executives in the development of the business."
