Defender could be available on a free

Skysports.com understands Swindon defender Hasney Aljofree is set for a move away from the County Ground. Aljofree is back to fitness after over 10 months out with a serious ankle injury. The 31-year-old has made a few appearances in the reserves, but he is well down the pecking order in Danny Wilson's plans. Aljofree has a wealth of experience having played for the likes of Bolton, Dundee United and Plymouth at the highest level. The experienced defender is keen on a move away in search of regular first-team football and with his contract due to expire at the end of the season it is believed Swindon are ready to let him leave on a free transfer. Aljofree's agent, Clive Hart, has confirmed the former Manchester United youngster is ready to move on and that he could be available on a free transfer in this month's transfer window. "Hasney is looking at his options this month as he wants to move on in search of a new challenge," Hart told skysports.com. "He has been unlucky with injuries, but he is now fit again and raring to go. "He has six months left on his contract, but Swindon have indicated they would let him leave on a free transfer if the right offer comes along."
