Bristol City have sacked assistant boss John Pemberton and named Jamie McAllister as his replacement.

City have won just once in the Sky Bet Championship since December 3 and are in the bottom three after drawing 0-0 with Burton at the weekend.

And a statement on the club website on Tuesday announced Pemberton had been "relieved of his duties" while also revealing head of scouting Des Taylor has left the club.

McAllister has been promoted from his role as U23 boss and will assist head coach Lee Johnson.
