Bristol City have bolstered their ranks further with the capture of Scunthorpe midfielder Martyn Woolford.
As revealed by skysports.com over the weekend, Bristol City were lining up a deadline day deal for the highly-rated winger
The attacking player has joined for an undisclosed fee, penning a three-and-a-half year deal.
The 25-year-old is the Championship club's second signing on transfer deadline day following the loan capture of Andy Keogh from Wolves.
The former York man told the club's
official website: "I only got dragged out at the last minute but I'm delighted to be here now and to have signed.
"I've had a good rise through the divisions in the last few years. I've got some great memories from my time at Scunthorpe United but it's the right time in my career to move on.
Massive club
"Bristol City is a massive club with great potential. I've been told about the new stadium and training ground.
"I've come from one relegation battle with Scunthorpe and hopefully this won't turn into another one. I'm sure we can start pushing up the table.
"It's a shame it's been left too late for me to play against Swansea City tomorrow night but I'm looking forward to watching the game and then getting involved with the lads."
He added: "I'm an out-and-out winger by trade, left-sided, but I've played all over.
"I've played up front and across the centre of midfield too. I'm an attacking player who looks to score goals as well."
Millen delighted
City boss Keith Millen is glad to have finally landed his man.
He said: "Martyn's signing is one we've been trying to complete since the start of the transfer window but it's gone right to the wire.
"He's an out-and-out left-sided player who can get down the outside and to the by-line. He likes to get crosses into the box but is also just as comfortable cutting inside.
"It's a permanent deal. He's a good footballer and has a big future so it's great that we've got the deal done."
