Commons blow for Megson
Nottingham Forest will be without midfielder Kris Commons for about two months.
Nottingham Forest are set to be without influential midfielder Kris Commons for up to two months.
Commons picked up an ankle ligament injury playing in Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Yeovil. After the match scans revealed the extent of the injury.
Manager Gary Megson said: "Kris will be out for six to eight weeks but he's a quick heeler and hopefully we'll get him back earlier.
"Any team would miss a player of his quality - let alone a team at the level we're at.
"He has been involved in the vast majority of the goals we have scored this season but these things happen - hopefully another player will emerge from the squad and take up the mantle."
