Barring a 3-0 reverse to league-leaders Newcastle, the Swans have not lost a match since early September while Forest have not been defeated since losing out to Blackburn in the same month's Carling Cup clash.
Swansea will hand a late fitness test to Craig Beattie ahead of their home match - the Scotland international striker has missed the past two league games with a knee injury and should he miss out, one of Gorka Pintado, Lee Trundle or Besian Idrizaj will take his place.
Manager Paulo Sousa will be boosted by the return of defender Alan Tate, who was suspended for the 2-2 draw with Peterborough last weekend.
However, the game is set to come too soon for Tate's defensive partner Garry Monk. He is expected to remain sidelined for the next 10 days with a calf injury.
