Blackpool goalkeeper Sam Slocombe will miss the visit of neighbours Morecambe on Saturday.

Dean Lyness deputised in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Barnet after Slocombe suffered a thigh injury. Lyness is set to continue after manager Gary Bowyer ruled Slocombe out of contention.

Tom Aldred returns from suspension and could go straight back into a defence which has conceded two goals in each of its last four League Two matches.

Striker Kyle Vassell, having recovered from a hamstring injury, came off the bench to score his first goal since November for a stoppage-time equaliser in midweek to give Bowyer options up front.

Defender Michael Rose misses out for Morecambe as he begins a two-match suspension.

Alex Kenyon is also unavailable, the midfielder remaining sidelined following knee surgery last month.

The Shrimps came through Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Portsmouth apparently without sustaining any fresh injuries.
