Blackpool have signed former New York Red Bulls striker Saer Sene on a deal until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old Frenchman has spent the bulk of his career across the pond with the Red Bulls, for whom he appeared eight times, and New England Revolution, but began his career with a spell in Germany.

"I want to tell the supporters that I'm happy to be here. It's a pleasure for me to be here and bring my best and help the team stay in the league," he told the Seasiders' official website.

Jamie O'Hara, meanwhile, has also agreed to remain at Bloomfield Road until the end of the season.

"It's great news," Lee Clark told a press conference on Thursday.

"He's been very consistent in his performance levels and we look forward to having him in and around our team.

"I've got a close relationship with Jamie. I think the fact that we've got him back on the football field and back enjoying his game has been a big factor.
