Tareiq Holmes-Dennis has been reunited with John Sheridan after moving to Oldham on loan from Charlton.

The 20-year-old full-back played for Sheridan during a loan spell at Plymouth and after making 12 appearances for the Addicks this term, he has dropped down into Sky Bet League 1 for the remainder of the season to help Latics' relegation battle.

"I really like him as a player and he did really well for me at Plymouth," Sheridan told Oldham's official website.

"He is young, very energetic and I just felt we needed a bit of strengthening down the left side.

"I've only got two left footers in Joseph Mills and Jonathan Forte so I wanted a bit more balance. He can play full-back or further up so I'm pleased to get him."
