Experienced striker on the lookout for new club

Lee Trundle insists he has still got a lot to offer despite severing his ties with Swansea City. The 33-year-old forward was released by the Swans after a second spell at the club, and is now on the lookout for a new side. Trundle scored 91 goals in 194 appearances for the Welsh outfit, and became a cult hero during his time at the Liberty Stadium. He admits that he leaves the club with a heavy heart, but wants to continue his career and revealed he intends to go into coaching after hanging up his boots. "It is a sad day for me. I hoped to finish my playing career at Swansea but that is not going to be the case now," he said. "I have just completed my UEFA B coaching badge and it's something I want to go into but I feel I've got a lot left in me as a player. "Hopefully I will be able to come back to Swansea in some capacity in the future." Trundle moved to Bristol City in 2007 but after three years at Ashton Gate and subsequent loans to Leeds and Swansea, he was released by the Robins.
