Carlisle have signed winger Reggie Lambe from Mansfield and midfielder Jamie Devitt from Morecambe.
Lambe has left Mansfield after turning down a new deal with the Stags.
The 25-year-old winger made 39 appearances for Adam Murray's side last season, but has opted to make the switch to Brunton Park on a one-year deal.
Bermuda international Lambe started his career at Ipswich and has also played for MLS outfit Toronto FC, Swedish side Nykopings BIS and Macclesfield.
Carlisle head of recruitment Lee Dykes told the club's official website: "People like Reggie can unlock doors for you in difficult situations. He's a wide player who can come in off the line, or go down it, and he's good with both feet.
"We'll be able to play Reggie in a number of positions, but we've spoken to him and we know what his best position will be.
"Reggie had more financially lucrative offers to go and play at the same level, or higher, but he's chosen to come here and that's something we're very pleased about."
Carlisle have also completed the signing of Irishman Devitt on a two-year deal after his contract with Sky Bet League Two rivals Morecambe expired.
The 25-year-old, who made more assists than anyone else in the division last season with 15, made 98 appearances for the Shrimpers and had been offered fresh terms at the Globe Arena but instead becomes the fourth new face at Brunton Park during what is proving to be a busy summer.
"Jamie is a very talented individual who joins us on the back of a successful season on a personal level," added Dykes. "Jamie was arguably one of the most effective players we faced last year, playing a big part in three of the four goals we conceded against Morecambe.
"He's a forward thinking player who can create and score goals which is an area we have looked to strengthen as a priority in this transfer window.
"Jamie can play a number of positions across the top end of the pitch. We believe he can play a big part in driving the philosophy of the manager forward and helping us to build on the success we achieved last season."
