Carlisle vs Swindon preview
Friday 8 March 2019 13:56, UK
Carlisle welcome playmaker Jamie Devitt back from suspension for Saturday's Sky Bet League Two match against Swindon.
Devitt served a three-match ban following his red card against Crewe last month, with Carlisle winless in his absence.
Midfielder Jason Kennedy and defender Peter Grant are also both available after injury. The pair were unused substitutes in last week's loss to Newport but came through a midweek friendly for the reserves against Middlesbrough. However, 18-year-old winger Liam McCarron was injured during the game and will be assessed.
Swindon manager Richie Wellens is expecting to have the same squad available as for last week's 3-0 home win over Colchester as he remains without a number of injured players. Though midfielder Danny Rose is back in training, the game looks likely to come too soon for both him and defender Olly Lancashire.
Midfielder Matt Taylor and defender Michael Doughty remain sidelined with calf and hamstring injuries respectively, while goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux is out with a shoulder problem. Midfielder Jermaine McGlashan looks to have played his final game for Swindon this season after joining Wrexham on loan until the end of the campaign.
