Boston sign two more

Boston United have continued their rebuilding plans by signing two more players.

Boston United have continued their rebuilding plans by signing two more players this week.

Striker Francis Green and defender Mark Albrighton have joined Anthony Elding and Tim Ryan in being the latest new faces to arrive at the Staffmart Stadium in recent days.

Green joins The Pilgrims from local rivals Lincoln City, with the former Ilkeston Town and Peterborough United hit-man (pictured) having spent time on loan with Steve Evans's side this past season.

"Franny is a quality player at this level and was excellent for us in his loan spell," Evans told Boston's official website.

"He carried with him some great enthusiasm every day, whether it was on the pitch or on the training ground and while with us, every one of our players enjoyed playing with him."

Centre back Albrighton arrives at the club after finishing the season on loan with League Two rivals Chester City.

Following his release from League One outfit Doncaster Rovers, Albrighton has opted to drop a division and join the new-look Pilgrims for next term.
