Millwall midfielder Shaun Williams has signed a new one-year contract with the club.

The 30-year-old has extended his stay at The Den after helping the Lions win promotion from Sky Bet League One this season and his deal has the option of an additional 12 months in the club's favour.

"I'm really over the moon," Williams told millwallfc.co.uk "Having such success last season made it in easy decision for me to sign another contract. I'm delighted to finally get it all sorted out.

"I have been here for three-and-a-half years and have had a lot of ups and downs - but I've loved every minute of my time here.
