Two-year deal for former Millwall man

Burton have completed the signing of midfielder Adam Bolder on a two-year contract. The 29-year-old has been training with the Brewers this week after being released from his contract with Championship side Millwall and has now agreed a deal at the Pirelli Stadium, which is subject to Football League ratification. Boss Paul Peschisolido was keen on capturing Bolder following his release from the Lions and is delighted to have got his man. "This is a huge piece in my jigsaw for this coming season," Peschisolido told the club's official website. "I am absolutely delighted to get someone of the quality of Adam Bolder into the squad. He is a great character and a leader. "For whatever reason it didn't happen for him at Millwall. He wants to resurrect his career and we are going to give him the opportunity to do just that." Bolder, who played with Peschisolido when the pair were at Derby, was in no doubt about joining the Brewers, who are about to embark on their second season in the Football League. "As soon as I spoke to Pesch and the chairman I knew it was the place I wanted to come," he said. "I had quite a lot of options once I knew I was going to leave Millwall but I can see that Burton is a team on the way up. "I wouldn't be coming here if I didn't think there was a chance of us getting promotion this season."
