Danny Hollands joins Crewe Alexandra

Crewe have signed midfielder Danny Hollands on a five-month contract.
The 30-year-old arrives at Gresty Road on a free transfer having been without a club since leaving Portsmouth in the summer, after turning down their offer of a fresh deal.
He becomes Alex boss Steve Davis' fifth signing of the summer and provides increased competition in central midfield where injuries have left Crewe short so far this season.
Hollands has only recently recovered from an ankle ligament injury so it remains to be seen whether he will be in the squad at Newport on Saturday.
Hollands' deal runs until January 19, 2017.
