Front man passes medical at Craig Short's side
Former Crewe Alexandra striker Anthony Elding is set to tie up a permanent move to Hungarian side Ferencvaros.
The 27-year-old saw his time at Alex ended by mutual consent in November but now looks set to sign terms with Craig Short's side after passing a medical this week.
Elding is about to agree the terms of his deal and he could be joined by former Colchester United defender Sam Stockley at the Budapest club.
The 32-year-old retired after sustaining an eye injury last season whilst at League Two side Port Vale, although he could make a return to his playing career if he passes a medical.
Short is keen for the veteran to join his side in a playing role, although he has been linked with a coaching position in the Hungarian media.
