Northampton have signed forward Billy Waters from Sky Bet League Two side Cheltenham for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old, who scored 16 goals for the Robins last season, has penned a three-year contract with the Cobblers.
Waters began his career at Crewe before joining Cheltenham in 2015, going on to make 93 appearances during a two-year stay.
Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh told the club's website: "He was a key target for us and we feel he will provide a good balance to the other strikers we have at the club.
"Billy is an excellent age, he has hunger and desire to keep his career on its upward curve and we think he will fit in well."
