Sky sources: Ian Hendon agrees to become Leyton Orient manager

Ian Hendon has agreed to become the new manager of Leyton Orient, Sky Sports understands.
Orient are looking for a new manager after Fabio Liverani departed by mutual consent earlier this month after failing to avoid relegation to League Two.
Former O’s captain Hendon made over 100 appearances for the club in the 90s and is odds-on to become their fifth manager in less than a year.
Hendon started out with Tottenham as a trainee and had spells with Portsmouth, Barnsley, Birmingham City, Notts County, Northampton Town, Sheffield Wednesday, Barnet and Peterborough United during a 20-year career.
The 43-year-old moved into management with Barnet and Dover Athletic before joining Sam Allardyce at West Ham in 2011 as development coach.
Hendon was promoted to the role of first-team coach at Upton Park in December 2012.
