Bournemouth defender Jack Simpson has signed a new deal which runs until the summer of 2021.
The 21-year-old, who has been with the club since the age of eight, became the first Bournemouth academy graduate to start in the Premier League last season in the 4-0 defeat at Manchester City.
Simpson has played in three first-team games this season, all in the Carabao Cup, where he has helped Bournemouth reach the quarter-finals - they face Chelsea on December 19.
"At the start of September they told me they wanted to give me an extension on what I already had, I was delighted about that," Simpson told the club's website.
"Now we've been through the process of getting it sorted and signed and I'm very happy to have signed another new contract.
"It's great that the management believe in me and it's great to have the opportunity to play here."
