Midfielder optimistic Bantams can turn around disappointing start

Bradford City midfielder Lee Bullock is eyeing a much-needed win to kick-start the Bantams' season. The Bantams have managed just one win from their opening six League Two games and hover a point off the bottom of the table. However, after a late Stockport equaliser cost them two points at Edgeley Park on Saturday, the 29-year-old told skysports.com that Peter Taylor's squad are optimistic about turning the situation around. He said: "We are at a point now where we know that we have to get our season going, so we would take a win at all costs really. "We just need a scrappy 1-0 to get us up and running, but saying that confidence levels aren't too bad in the squad.

Remain optimistic

"They obviously aren't as good as if we were top of the league, but we remain optimistic of turning things around. "Our start to the season definitely hasn't been as good as we would have liked, but the performances are gradually getting there. "We have been making a few mistakes here and there which have cost us points on the board, but as soon as we cut those out we will start to pick up points." Having netted just three goals in their opening six league games, Bullock believes that converting more of their chances will give them the edge they have been lacking in recent weeks. He added: "We made some great chances against Stockport, Port Vale and other games and when you are struggling you don't seem to take those chances, so I am confident that once one goes in the goals and wins will start to flow because we are creating some good opportunities."
