Bradford City defender Zesh Rehman has expressed his surprise and disappointment at being stripped of the club's captaincy and placed on the transfer list.
Earlier this week Rehman spoke of his frustration at being forced to watch the struggling Bantams from the sidelines, comments that manager Peter Taylor reacted to.
The 27-year-old is confused by the latest developments as the action has put a black mark against his name when he has never had any problems with previous managers.
The former Fulham and QPR stopper, who will hold fresh talks with Taylor on Monday, feels he was justified to voice his dissatisfaction at being unable to help the first team, but now accepts that he will move on in January.
Rehman remains fully committed to Bradford while contracted to the West Yorkshire club and would have no qualms playing under Taylor when he is called upon for first-team duty again.

"I'm at the club and will continue to give 100 per cent when called upon as always," he told
skysports.com.
"I've worked 24/7 on and off the pitch for the club, as I have done for every club I've been at. The fans have been good to me since I've been here and I really appreciate their continued support.
"I'm aware of how quickly things can change in this game and you can never say never.
"I have played in all four leagues and have always received praise for my professionalism, work ethic and attitude."
