Defender arrives on non-contract basis
Chesterfield have confirmed that they have signed defender TJ Moncur on a non-contract basis until the end of the season.
The versatile 22-year-old has been without a club since last October when he left Wycombe following the departure of manager Peter Taylor.
Moncur, who can play at right-back or centre-back, is a product of Fulham's youth system and spent two periods on loan at Bradford before joining Wycombe.
Spireites player-coach Mark Crossley knows Moncur as their respective spells at Craven Cottage coincided.
Seventh-placed Chesterfield are hopeful of earning promotion from League Two this season as they prepare for Saturday's home match against Lincoln City.
