Midfielders Jay O'Shea and Ollie Banks have both signed new two-year contracts with Chesterfield.
The duo were both into the final year of their existing deals but have put pen to paper on 12-month extensions, extending their stays at the Proact Stadium until the summer of 2017.
After securing the pair's futures, Spireites manager Dean Saunders said: "I made it clear that I was keen to keep them and I'm delighted they have signed. We've more or less got all the squad on an extra year now, which is great."
O'Shea joined Chesterfield from MK Dons, initially on loan, in November 2012, while Banks was signed from FC United of Manchester in September of the following year.
